macrobud ("we") provides an AI nutrition and training coaching app. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and your rights over it.
Data we collect
- •Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a salted hash).
- •Health & profile: age, gender, height, weight, goals, activity, dietary preference, and the meals/water/workouts you log.
- •Optional uploads: progress photos and meal photos you choose to add.
- •Usage: basic app interactions needed to operate the service.
Why we use it
- •To generate and adapt your personalized nutrition & training plan.
- •To send the notifications you opt into (email / push).
- •To compute progress, scores, and coaching feedback.
AI processing
- •Plan generation and photo estimates use OpenAI. The minimum necessary data (profile macros, food text, or an image) is sent to produce the result. We do not sell your data.
Third parties
- •Hosting: Vercel. Database: Neon (PostgreSQL). Email: SendGrid. AI: OpenAI. Food data: Open Food Facts (ODbL) & USDA FoodData Central. Payments (when enabled): Lemon Squeezy / app stores.
Your rights
- •Access & export your data anytime from the app (Settings → "Download my data").
- •Delete your account and all associated data permanently (Settings → "Delete account").
- •Turn any notification type on/off in notification settings.
Retention & security
- •Data is kept while your account is active and deleted on account deletion. Passwords are hashed; transport is encrypted (HTTPS).
Children
- •The service is not intended for users under 16.
